CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT TO CUSTOMERS
Many of our customers are cancelling their bookings because of the Coronavirus. Our terms and conditions, which are sent to all customers, clearly state that deposits cannot be refunded unless 30 days notice is given. This has always been our policy. This is done to give us time to replace any cancelled bookings. Unfortunately there is little prospect of replacing those bookings at present and nobody knows how long this situation is going to last.
In the past, when possible, we have deferred deposits to future bookings but these current unprecedented times are making it impossible for us to do that without having to shed valued staff. We need income to pay staff now.
With a site the size of ours there are substantial overheads to pay out each and every day regardless of the amount of animals boarded. During the quieter months we spend the money earned during peak times to improve the facility and keep staff employed. At this time of year our reserves are exhausted.
The Corona Virus pandemic is hitting small businesses hard (in particular those relating to the holiday industry), many of which will be forced to shed staff or close. We are desperately trying not to do either. Keeping booking deposits will help towards our survival, help towards our team to keeping their jobs and for us to be here for you once this is over. Surviving kennels and catteries will always look after their best customers first.
We much appreciate the support, understanding and loyalty of our regular customers in these challenging times and would be grateful if you would click on and sign this petition
Regards Lindsey and Kelvin
Meet the Team
We recommend you view our facilities to see the cats, dogs and other pets staying with us, it is a good opportunity to talk to us about about the care and attention that your pet will receive.
We realise how important for our customers to know who is looking after their pets. So we would like to introduce you to the team.
