Diamondridge Desperado was born on the 19th April 2001, his mother was
Diamondridge Royal Gold who was mated to Int.GB.Nord.Fin.VDH. Ch. Aakemba King Astor
G'Fumo.
He made his debut at LKA where he won Minor Puppy Dog and Best Puppy.
He was a consistent winner throughout 2002, his best wins were
CC with BOB under Breed Judge Brenda Butler, CC under All-rounder Norman Ziman,
and his final CC under Breed Judge Charlotte Strickland. Reserve CCs under breed judges
Brian Stanley, Sharon Rossiter, Dorothy Grayson-Wood and
Charlotte Strickland.
His offspring,
Ch. Sofala
Sentinel JW and Ch. Sofala Jefferson entered the ring early in 2003.
Jefferson was made up in 2006 with Sentinel following closely behind in 2007. They do not just have good looks, 'Billy'
passed on his superb gentle nature on to his puppies. Billy took Best
Veteran at the SRRA Open Show In Oct 08 and his last show was Midland & Northern
Club three days before he died, were he took Best Veteran and his niece
Diamondridge Dolissma took Best in Show.

stunning dog at top end of Standard, head in proportion to body, superbly
crested neck coming down into well set withers, forearm straight and boned
through pasterns to feet , ribcage excellent in length and depth, plenty
of width to first and second thigh, correct balanced angulation produced a
ground covering movement, soundest mover in class." |
