A super Critique from Sue Simper after winning 1st in Limit Class  Barnes’ Diamondridge Da Vinci, 23 months impressive clear red of quality. Up to size, very well boned, full of breed type. Well balanced head, masculine without being overdone, flat skull, clean through temples & cheeks, deep powerful muzzle. Lovely arched neck of good length, very good shoulder placement, correct in front. Deep capacious ribcage, broad in loin, strong, well made quarters with excellent bend of stifle, low set well defined hocks, long ground covering profile action but he did not seem fully at ease today. A great shame as he appealed immensely;

Baccus striding out to win BIS at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of GB.  What the Judge Mike House said about him.

"DIAMONDRIDGE DA VINCI JW
An outstanding specimen, so solid in construction with lean muscle tone throughout for one so young. Flat skull and excellent length proportion between skull and muzzle showing depth and power in jaw. Fabulous shoulder angulation with a good length and return of upper arm, and in perfect harmony with his rear assembly with a good width of first thigh. Superb height to length ratio with excellent ribbing, substantial in bone with strong pasterns. Moved so true fore and aft with an impressive effortless side gait. Well deserved BIS"

What the Judge Peter Jolley said about Baccus at the SRRA Club Show "Such a beautiful outline kept on the move, wonderful head plains, good angles front and rear with very good bone.  Walks and moves very well."
What the Judge Graham Hill Said about Baccus at SWKA "Barnes’ Diamondridge Da Vinci, an impressive substantially made 11 month old male who excels in stature & overall development having excellent conformation combined with good bone & substance in body, clearly defined ridge. Masculine, typy head of pleasing shape & balance & totally in proportion with the rest of him. He has powerful forequarters, good length of neck, set on well to powerful well laid shoulders. He has pleasing length of body with a firm correct topline. An exciting prospect with super potential for a bright show future, he has all the essentials of development, quality & promise so necessary in a youngster. He moved out really well with a free true & purposeful action. BP, RCC & PG1."
  What the judge Charlotte Strickland said when Baccus won BP at Richmond "A powerful young man but not coarse in any way.  Head well balanced good width to jaw and lovely drop to lip.  Point to forechest easily viewed in profile.  Well boned straight forelegs, shoulders laid back correctly, scored strongly on length and depth of ribbing.  Powerful, well angulated quarters.  he ha an easy movement with excellent forehand reach."
  What the Judge said Anne Macdonald said about Baccus "is a very well constructed 9 months old who looks mature for his age.  Up to size but well balanced.  Strong boned with good legs & feet, a good depth of chest & length of rib.  Well angulated behind & moving well.

1 Barnes' Diamondridge Da Vinci. A nice puppy with a proper outline. Good bone for a puppy this age. Lovely temperament and personality. Moved well. Ron Menaker.
What the Judge Gillian Craven had to say about Baccus at his very first show went he went Best puppy in Show.  "6 month old red wheaten nicely balanced youngster, good head leading into length of neck, good feet and adequate bend of stifle. Enough depth for age, a little loose in movement at present but promising."
